Carol Wall is the Principal and Director of Carol Wall and Associates Pty Ltd. Carol has a diverse range of experience working in both the public and private sector. Coming from a healthcare management background, Carol completed her Juris Doctor Postgraduate Law Degree at the University of Canberra in 2012 and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Australian National University that same year.  In January 2016, Carol completed a Master of Laws (Legal Practice).

 

Carol has built a strong foundation in Canberra as a legal professional and a valued community member. Carol's recent government experience includes regulatory reform, maritime, aviation and biosecurity law, commercial law, legislative drafting, Freedom of Information, in-house lawyer and Court Officer for children's litigation matters.

Carol is an accredited mediator under the National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS) and highly sought after legal professional. She has extensive experienced assisting government departments in achieving their policy and legislative objectives. Specifically, Carol has undertaken roles as a Senior Legal Officer and Senior Legal Policy Officer in the following Commonwealth Government Departments:

• Attorney-General's Department

• Department of Health

• Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development

• Australian Maritime Safety Authority

• Department of Agriculture
